Broughton CFS after new blood

Port Broughton Country Fire Services captain Mark Bellman said the brigade is looking for the next generation of volunteers to carry on the work of the CFS. The brigade looks after Port Broughton, Fisherman’s Bay and surrounding areas and has 25 members but is always looking for more.“We have just had two members leave and we are always looking for new members to maintain crews,” Mr Bellman said. “Although the numbers sound good, at any particular time of the day we could get called out and especially during work hours we struggle to get a crew.”Mr Bellman said members have had many exciting adventures helping communities locally and in other states
The Port Broughton Country Service brigade currently has 25 members but is looking for people to join to maintain a day crew. Back: Daniel Harris, Samuel Hewett; front: Ann Consadine, James Rigby-Meth, Shaun Broughton-Wright, Mark Bellman, Josh Flowers, Brett Dunstan
