CFS Jump On Board campaign... Room for more at Edithburgh CFS

A short time ago Edithburgh Country Fire Service only had three active firefighters on its books, and the station was in danger of closing. Today it has 10, with Captain Andrew Searle, Robert Klingner, Troy Greenwood and Michael Reuther having recently completed a breathing apparatus course to reinstate this service for the first time in a decade. There’s no doubt the mood around the station is positive and upbeat. “We can now at least get a crew up, but we’d definitely like to see more people put up their hands to be involved, especially those available during the day when some of us are away working,” Mr Searle said
